The other day I emailed Jerry Beck at CartoonBrew and he was kind enough to put up a link to The Jackalope Boyz cartoon. I've checked the stats and my site has gotten a huge amount of hits from that one site. I can only imagine what kind of hits they get on a daily basis! Anyway, if you're refferred from there say hi!
I love this blogging stuff. Eight years ago we made a few cartoons for Hanna Barbera and they had a contest as well but there was really no way to get the word out there and let people know we were in a contest. I guess I could have mailed a letter but I only had so many addresses and family was gonna vote anyway. Now with the Web I've posted to various weblogs and User forums and have gotten hits from that already! I only wish that I could know if they're voting for it or hate it. Jacks is in first place today but who knows tomorrow. It seems to only be updated each day so I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow. Wish us luck and of course... VOTE!

My name is Glenn R, I'm a 41/M from Ft. Smith AK. My uncle had a stuffed and mounted jackalope once. As a kid I wondered if they were real creatures. My uncle insisted they were real, but maybe he was pulling my leg. I've always thought that jackalopes would be interesting little characters if they did exist. I saw an ad for the Jackalpe boys on WB online and I watched your cartoon. I wanted to see if you had done anything else with them so I looked them up on google. Nice job on the Zaptoons site, it looks nice. I enjoyed the Jackalopes web cartoon very much. Good luck with these guys. If people say jackalopes don't exist you can say you've proven them wrong.

Yeah I've seen those jackalopes for slae online. I kinda wanted to buy one for the house seeing as how we made a cartoon about them but I dunno. It's kinda gross having this frankenstiened creature staring at you. I saw a website where they showed what a real "jackalope" is. I guess it's some sort of disease that cottontail rab bits get where they get these growths- antlers on their heads. If you do a search on Goolge you can see real pics of this strange phenomenom. Anyway yhtanks for posting to our blog! As always all are encouraged to visit, post and of course VOTE for The Jackalope Boyz!

Amazing what can happen when you are featured on WB's site that gets over 1,000,000 visits per day!
