Currently I'm busy with my work and writing schedule, as well as doing some freelance commercial work.
I'm Directing an animated intro spot for a small entertainment company here in Los Angeles. A group of animators are doing the logo animation using Maya. I'm overseeing the animation and making sure it’s what the client wants, though I'm certainly no expert with Maya. Mike Milo will probably tweak the animation in Maya for us so we get exactly what we want.
Also I'm doing a spot for a friend's camera equipment company, called Hi-Pod. We filmed a model using the Hi-Pod camera monopod that is featured in the ad in a series of photo shoots in Hollywood last week. Currently I'm animating the 30 second spot by manipulating the digital still frames one by one, 30 frames per second. Below is a frame showing what the spot will look like- sort of a stylized highlight of the product with the model a bit subdued.

Wow! That's really cool! You should post a link to it when you're done! Very nice stuff!
Thanks!
I'll post a web version as soon as I can!
